Stencil Portrait Time Lapse Video by Kaine Kulczak

This is a multi layer stencil portrait I did of Plura Bella a few weeks ago. The cutting took ages but the spraying only took 30 minutes. Here is that 30 minutes condensed into 4 and a half with a track called Keep You Safe by Orison over the top of it...

Contributors: Craig Kerrecoe

Craig Kerrecoe uses colour and texture as a way of abstractly studying and understanding his actions reactions and interactions with others. Pursuing a relatively simple ‘flesh against machine’ metaphor, using nothing more than wallpaper scrapers, he scrapes paint onto each canvas, layer after layer, as if removing these layers from his own ‘self’. He then scrapes the paint off again in the hope that this removal process will somehow ‘reveal’ the true identity that lies beneath.

Craig has exhibited widely throughout UK since 2005 and has exhibited at many respected galleries and venues, such as Worcester City Museum & Art Gallery in 2008. He has also been published several times and compiled the book 'Self: Self-portraits from around the world' in 2009 for Beautiful Cariad Books.

Contributors: Sion Eleri & Neil Graham-Cameron

Sion Eleri and Neil Graham-Cameron are photographers, recently married, based in Haddenham, Cambridgeshire. Their combined portfolio features 'found images' rather than 'set-ups'. They say...

"Being aware of an abstract or seemingly insignificant silhouette, shadow or shape can create a fascinating picture and what we see is often aided by the movement of the sun or a change in viewing position.

Light, which is the essence of photography, will reveal something temporary and unique, an image which is transitional. When the light moves on, the image is lost. Pictures are about shape, form, composition which can evoke feelings ranging from humour to mystery or drama - often unseen by the casual observer."

They have a website here and an Ovenden Contemporary portfolio here.

Revised Invitation Card

I have revised the invitation card for the event now with different images from Jo Tunmer and Kaine Kulczak plus the EACH logo. We've all agreed that the card will be A5 size now too. The wonderful people at Parrot Press in Ramsey have agreed to support the event by generously donating 250 invite cards & envelopes. Many thanks to them!
